WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU VISIT

  • Meeting Point: The boarding area is located on Lower Landing in Great Gorge. Please take the ramp/elevator entrance located at Niagara City Cruises Main Ticket Plaza, 5920 Niagara Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6X8, Canada (look for sails next to Zipline).
  • All passengers and carry-on items are subject to search before entering the property
  • Only small backpacks, bags, purses and small to midsize baby strollers will be allowed on the property
  • All passengers, including infants, are required to have a ticket to board the boat
  • During peak hours, boats sail every 15 minutes
  • Your ticket should be presented at the lineup for lower landing and you can proceed down to enjoy the Voyage To The Falls Boat Tour by Niagara City Cruises by Hornblower!.
  • Hornblower Niagara Funicular is located at the intersection of Clifton Hill and the Niagara Parkway & River Road in Niagara Falls, Canada.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

NOTE: ToNiagara is an Online Ticketing Agent providing tickets for the Niagara City Cruises by Hornblower. All sales and departure dates are FINAL for all Hornblower Boat Cruises (Voyage to the Falls).

Tickets for ALL Hornblower Boat Cruises are NON Refundable. Rescheduling or modifying your booking is not permitted once tickets are administered. Use of the Niagara City Cruises Funicular is not guaranteed and will subject to operational needs, availability and weather conditions. At its sole discretion, Niagara City Cruises reserves the right to provide alternative means of transportation to the Lower Landing and boarding area. In the event that the Funicular is not available for use, no refunds shall be issued.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Hornblower Boat Cruise close for the winter season?

Yes, the Hornblower Boat Cruise does close for the winter on November 28 (the date may change due to winter temperatures).  

What if the weather is poor on the day of my visit?

We sail rain or shine! Only when it is unsafe to sail will we cancel a sailing.

Do I need a passport to ride the boat?

We do not require a passport for boarding our boats. However, you do need to be in Canada for boarding.

Other Information

  • The first daytime boat trip departs at approximately 8:30AM in season (start times may vary).
  • A bike rack is available on site and is located in front of our Group Check-In booth. There are 2 wheelchair accessible washrooms aboard the boat.
  • If you are travelling with an infant in a stroller, it is required that the child remains in the stroller during the boat ride and the child is accompanied by an adult and not left unattended. Strollers are to remain on the lower deck of the boat. If you wish to leave your stroller on land before boarding, an Hornblower Employee will monitor strollers during your boat duration.
  • Service animals are permitted. All other pets are not permitted.
  • Hornblower Niagara Cruises provides wheelchairs on a first come first serve basis. Guests can request and access a wheelchair upon arrival at the Hornblower Group Check In Booth located at the base of Clifton Hill. Wheelchairs are accessible aboard the boats on the Lower Level Deck. Please note wheelchairs are for on-site use only.
  • We offer complimentary admission for one support person per guest. A personal support worker is classified as a professional accompanying a guest who requires extra assistance with communication, mobility, or medical needs. Personal Support workers must present ID when arriving at the attraction.
